The Hidalgo County Preventive Measure Program is centered at eliminating or minimizing the impact of health issues by following three preventive measures:
1. Aetna Online Health Risk Assessment
2. Physical Exam
3. Lab Work at an in-network preferred lab.

Urgent Care Centers
If a doctor suggests imminent care, urgent care centers are another resource for after-hours medical care. Urgent medical conditions are not necessarily considered emergencies; however, they still require care within 24 hours.
