THE PROGRAM
The Hidalgo County Employee Wellness Program was developed with the purpose of improving the quality of life of county employees by promoting healthy lifestyles and aiding employees to maximize benefits afforded through the County's medical insurance, and simultaneously reduce the medical cost claims for preventable conditions.

The mission of the Hidalgo County Employee Wellness Program is to positively contribute to the quality of life of our employees using a wholesome approach through education, engagement, social support, and guidance.

To build a positive work culture where wellness and prevention are dominant. Additionally, to continuously support Hidalgo County employees in maintaining healthy habits and lifestyle decisions.
